Brand new Sense Faulty

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My sense is a couple of days old.

Last night I synced at 10:19pm. Watch reported fully charged.

Woke this morning watch was completely dead and unresponsive.

I put it on the charger. After several minutes the low battery indicator came up.

I have tried several chargers that worked fine with it but it reports them all as slow charging.

It keeps cycling between a black screen, to diamond dots display. Sometimes I can get to the normal display for a few seconds. Tried to sync when the normal display appeared but no go.

Being dead overnight is for sure not ordinary. I can't even try to kill my Sense overnight from 100% if I tried. I would charge it again and see if it was a fluke thing.

It seems like most, all the Samsung ones I have, charging bricks report slow charging. That being said, I still fast charge with getting to >90% in 45 minutes even after the notification.

From the looping that you're getting, I would recommend contacting customer service on getting out of that. There is a way to factory reset but mods here have said it's not recommended unless customer service tells you too.

@Goresh  -  as @eezeepee  has correctly advised it is probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you resolve being stuck on the logo.

Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

There are frequent issues with the charge cable, but first check the back of the watch for a plastic cover, it is unlikely to need cleaning but check the issues in How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen in case your watch also isn't charging properly.

I did. My 3 day old Sense is being replaced and will join the half a dozen
dud Ionics in the drawer.
