My Samsung Smart watch did this. it's like a Dick Tracy watch, although that's probably a dated reference.
I only used it a few times, when my phone was packed away in my backpack or I was out running. The Samsung had a phone number of it's own, and I think it used AT&T number synch. I guess Fitbit (will) does it by Bluetooth.
Best AnswerEverything everyone is wanting in the Sense is "coming soon". It's kinda a bummer they didn't have everything ready and working at lunch.
It's now October 15th, how soon will this feature be available??

Works for me with my iPhone.
Best AnswerI just followed the help doc and got it setup. No problem. I’m using an older phone though, iPhone 6s Plus. Maybe someone with your phone will
respond. Good Luck. I enjoy the feature when my phone is not within sight and I get a call. Nice to look at the watch and determine if I want to stop what I’m doing and answer the call on my wrist or ignore it and allow it to go to vm.
Best AnswerWill that be for those connected to Fitbit Sense with an iPhone? How soon can we hope for this and maybe placing calls to contacts or 911?
Best Answer@SunsetRunner during an incoming call. If you answer through your Sence, it connects to the phone like a Bluetooth speaker. So yes you can talk through your wrist.
As for when, or if we will be able to make calls, that would be up to the developers and fitbits plans.
I can use Google voice, through the sense, to start a call, but the call is on the phone, not the wrist.
