Can the battery be changed in Fitbit? My current Fitbit works great and instead of getting a new one I’d rather change the battery but don’t know if it’s possible.

Hi @sandee6786 Fitbit doesn't sell parts for these devices. You could probably search online for a company which has a service to replace them or sells the batteries with instructions on how to do it. You would lose any water resistance in having to take the seal off the back when replacing the battery. I'd check first to see how much it would cost and what tools you'd need to do it.

Hi @sandee6786 - agree with @Odyssey13 but why do you want to change the battery if it works great
Often what might seem a battery issue, rarely is, and is more likely something else causing the battery to drain quickly, if that is the issue.
Here's a link to check if that is the case.

The ability to change the battery in a Fitbit device depends on the specific model you have.

Hi @DorothyCarmody - thanks for helping, for info, Fitbit don't repair or change batteries in watches and it is rarely the cause of short battery life. The watch is simply replaced if it is still under warranty.
