Can I send messages from Facebook Messenger on Sense?

Hello. I am an Android user and I'm looking into getting the Fitbit Sense. I'm trying to determine if it has all the features I'm looking for, but I can't seem to find out if you can send messages from Facebook Messenger. I have searched high and low all over the internet and I cannot get a straight answer to this. The watch description says that you can get notifications and send replies, but some people I've asked say they can't even do that.  Maybe they just haven't set it up correctly?? I'm going to assume that's the case and you can actually send replies. What I really want to know is if you can go to the Messenger app and start a message. I want to be able to send a message without having to wait for a person to send me one. If someone could please give me a definitive answer on this, with screenshots maybe, I would be incredibly grateful! Thanks!

Hi @AprilBelieve.

 

From my experience, it's not possible to initiate the sending of a message from the watch. I have seen some users report that they have been able to send a message using the onboard Google Assistant, but I was never personally able to succeed.
