I hope they didnt change the size because I have way too many cool Versa 2 bands and that would be a deal killer.
Thanks!

No, you cannot use your Versa 2 bands ... the attachment mechanism for Sense and Versa 3 is a push button type rather than the knobbed pin used on the earlier versas.

I do know that the Versa 3 and Sense use the same band. The dimensions are similar, but not exact.

No, the mechanism is different. It is reported to be easier to attach and detach bands on the sense and 3. I’m like you and I have a few bands for my 2, but I’ll upgrade.

what a bummber..so annoying. Guess I will keep my two for a lot longer then.
Thanks for the confirmation.
These companies need to think ahead a little and understand that people on their ecosystems are already invested with add-ons..but guess that is their idea, to force us into buying more. 😕

I hear ya.
In this case at least, I don’t think Fitbit made the change just to get people to upgrade. There are a lot of complaints, especially from older users, that the pin-style attachment system of Versa 2 and earlier is just too hard to use. I’ve got multiple bands for my Versa 2, but hardly ever change them just because it is such a pain to get them to attach. Push button should make changing bands much easier.

For me is like my 3rd party bands are easy to swap BUT the Fitbit ones are a pain on my Versa 2 lol

i was told they were the same. ordered the sense and they are not compatiable. I also have many versa 2 bands that i love. Returned the new sense yesterday - it was a deal killer for me as well.

I have a couple different bands and though this wasn't the biggest factor that had me cancel my order definitely an addition to a culmination of factors that don't yet warrant an upgrade in my instance.

Yep that is my problem too. I got WAY too many awesome looking bands for my Versa 2 and like I mentioned earlier, I have no issues switching them. It is always the Fitbit ones that are harder for me to swap. Guess you were not impressed enough with the Sense to keep it and deal with the loss of your cool bands? Just curious on how it felt and reacted vs the Versa 2

I'm very curious as well just not curious enough to upgraded yet.....I find the Spo2 method a bit "gimmicky" not to say it doesn't work just too first generational...I'd get an upper end Garmin if that was on my priority list. I've got a 30.00 oximeter that gives me accurate instant readings that suits me fine for now. I've logged roughly a thousand miles on my Versa2 pretty much issue free. Looking forward to watching the Fitbit software mature a bit and then more than willing to give it a second look for sure.....good looking lineup with the Sense and Versa3.

I really need the metal band like I had with the Versa but they currently don’t have those for the Sense. The bands are different and not able to change over.

Maybe one of the clever 3rd party companies that make other fitbit band adapters will make a Versa / Sense adapter. There was nothing wrong with the pin system on the Versa - their mesh band with the captive pins was easy to switch - my third party Versa 2 bands with loose pins are hard to change. I don't remember about the crappy plastic band that comes standard on the Versa - that went in the trash as soon as I got the watch. The band attachment and accessory change is annoying though. I have several Versa 2 chargers. My husband has a Versa 2 also, so now we use 2 different charger types, again. sigh...

I did the same thing. Ordered the sense, bands from versa 2 were not compatible so the sense was returned

I agree 100%. Returned the sense as well. I have over 20 versa 2 bands do the sense will not work for me

Watch out- bands are not compatible

Why change the bands and charger???? Deal breaker for me to upgrade
