It finally appeared that I had set up an account and then it never connected to Iphone and then nothing showed u[p right. I bought this several months ago and have yet to be able to use the watch.

Have you contacted Fitbit support?
They can probably get you up and running with the app and watch.

Sorry to hear about this. This is odd and I would like to help you with it. Are you getting any error message? What instructions are your following. The setup of your account is different from setting up your Fitbit Sense. Glad that you were able to create an account. Now you can follow these instructions to setup your Fitbit Sense or you can chat with our Support team as @Clove6060 suggested.
