As the title says. I can swipe up, right, and left but nothing happens when I swipe down.
When I get a text my Fitbit vibrates but I can't swipe down to check it.
I've had the Sense since Christmas and so far I've had to restart it every day to fix this issue (which it does fix for a while, but it always comes back)
Anyone else have this issue? I haven't seen anyone else bring it up anywhere.

Are you using the standard watch face?
To check, swipe right, AND then swipe down. If you get nothing then its a problem.
You should get "Notification center" "You're all caught up!" at least.

I am. Right after I restart it I can get into the notification center that will say that or have my message that I just got. But eventually I stop being able to swipe down again.
When I posted this 20 minutes ago I restarted it to fix my issue, which it did. And as of right now I can't swipe down again.....

Make sure your swipe starts at the very edge of the display, @Jacki118

Wow... I thought I was having the same problem. Then I saw the post by @Rich_Laue. When I start the swipe from the edge of the top frame of the watch and swipe down it works every time. It appears to be different then when I swipe in other directions. In the other directions, I can place my finger in the center of the screen then swipe.

Thanks for the advice. I thought that fixed it but it's still happening.

I contacted Fitbit support on twitter and after telling them everything I tried to fix it (Holding the button for 10 seconds to restart it. Then tried a full factory reset and uninstalled everything on my phone and reinstalled it all) they asked me to mail it back to them and they're going to send me a new one.

Darn, I was hoping to hear a better solution, my Sense just started doing this today 😞

I've had mine less than a week and it has started doing that. It vibrates when I get a message but the message doesn't appear, nor can I pull down tghe screen. It also doesn't notify me of how many steps I have left if I haven't reached the 250 per hour. Again, it vibrates, but doesn't show me. Very frustrating. 😞

Hi @khuds00 - the first step would be to go into the watch Settings, at the bottom, Shutdown. Wait 10 seconds and place on the charger, or push the button to restart it.
This should refresh it to normal working.
Note the pull down or swipe is from the very edge for it to work well.
To get a better view of steps this hour try another clock face from the gallery., Such as the free SimpleClockPro, which has multiple reminders to move and loads of functions, including day history of steps per hour.

Same behavior in mine, after about a week of use. Works sometimes; other times not. The swipe-from-the-edge to swipe down is a very helpful tip, if only it always worked. But a Q for the Fitbit team: What was the theory behind making swipe down work differently than left, right or up? Wanted to be sure it wasn't done by accident to miss a notification? Only thing I can think of. Anyway, another annoying idiosyncrasy of this otherwise fine device.

Just received my Sense yesterday and it has never allowed me to see messages by swiping down. There is also no notifications or calls received.

Hello there. I feel your pain b/c I have experienced the same.
(1) You'll probably get a good reply from someone at Fitbit soon. They are usually pretty attentive to the support forum comments.
(2) For reasons understood by someone at Fitbit I hope, swiping down is different that other directions. You have to put your finger on the edge of the watch rim and then swipe down to make it work. It's not as "casual" as other directional swipes. And even then, it's still
fussy"....
(3) If you've NEVER gotten this to work, as opposed to it not working SOMETIMES, it may be that your Fitbit and phone BT connection are not yet fully/appropriately connected. I hate to send you down a long path, but in my experience the Fitbit CS is very good. Whether by char or phone.I've always gotten very good support. Yeah, it's gonna take some time, but at the end of it you'll probably get if fixed.

Hi @Ren505 - it seems your watch has not been properly setup.
If your watch is not syncing properly or the notifications have not been setup in the app or on the phone then you won't receive any on the watch
So it's normal not to see any.
You should see notifications on your watch that you see on the phone as long as your watch is not in sleep or do not disturb mode.
Swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings to check
In the Fitbit App, click profile photo, device photo, notifications to set the basic notifications, and app notifications to get other notifications.
On your phone make sure you are getting notifications and lastly make sure your watch can sync anytime.

@Ren505 if you say that you never receive notifications, when you swipe down you should see a message saying, All Caught Up.
It sounds like you need to setup notifications.
