Considering upgrading from Charge 3 to Sense

So I’m considering upgrading from a Charge 3 to a Sense, except I saw something in an Amazon review about it not tracking stats if not connected to the internet. I only connect my Fitbit (charge 3) to my phone around once a day so this would be a problem. Is it true that you need the sense to be connected to the internet at all times in order to track steps and other stats?

Also is the sense battery as bad as everyone says?

Need to be connected to internet to track stats is not true in any way; basically like Charge 3 and all other Fitbit models in that respect.

As for "everybody" saying the battery is bad, I doubt there is anything "everybody" says.  And I certainly have never said that.

P.S.

The Sense snore detection takes a big battery hit.  It is best used just for a night or 2; then maybe again in a few weeks to see if it has changed.  I think some battery complaints were from people who left it on permanently, which I don't blame them for, without realizing how big a battery drain it is,

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@Matt14 read all the threads about the Sense before you buy one and then decide if it is worth the money.

If you do decide to purchase the Sense, highly recommended to purchase the unit at a retail store that has a generous exchange/refund policy within the store itself. Search forum posts for users that have sent in their Sense for replacement due to operational issues. Read what these users have experienced in returning their units to be replaced.
