I've been a fitbit user for 4 years now and I've never had a trouble with fitbit untill now. I bought a fitbit sense a couple of months back and upgraded from the fitbit versa which I had for most of time with fitbit. I thought it would be an excellent upgrade compared to other watch I had. But the battery life is awful on it. It dies within 2 or 3 days and I don't have my notifications on or I do not have the display on. I thought the battery was suppose to last over 6 days but mine doesn't. Must have had a dodgy batch. Any way this issue can be resolved or is it the watch?
Best AnswerI also wish I kept my Versa 2. I have different issues, but the battery life I suspect is a software thing. Mine wasn’t bad until very recently. I was getting 5 days. I charged it Monday but got a notification this morning (Thursday) that it’s dead. I’ve had it about 6 months. Premium trial just ended. My notifications show up about 50% of the time.
I’ve also noticed my alarm doesn’t always vibrate. I had an alarm set for 4:50 AM on smart wake, and a non-smart wake set for 5:10 just in case. I felt the 4:50 one but I was looking at my watch when the 5:10 went off and it didn’t vibrate. It did light up but that’s not helpful if you’re asleep. Navigation was also easier on the Versa 2. I miss it. 😞
Yes mine was the same the battery life would last ages when I first had it but now I'm lucky if it lasts for 3 days now. I haven't noticed the alarm issue yet but I will give it ago incase mine doesn't work too. I bet it is annyoing when the alarm doesnt vibrate because you can't wake up then. I really hope they fix this software issue.
Best AnswerHello @Sylviescott11, This issue is mostly related to the clockface your using as some of them can quickly drain out your battery. All the clockfaces that I use usually give me about 5-6 days. I have made some of my clockfaces (both paid and free), that don't inhale your battery. If those clockfaces don't help then it could be the device itself. Contact Fitbit support here.

In my case it's not the clock face, I've been using the same one the whole time and previously was getting 5 to 6 days but over the last month only been getting 2 days at best, I don't know of anything that's changed apart from maybe a firmware update.

I agree. I’ve been using the SPO2 face since My Versa 2. I carried it over to my Sense. It’s the only face I had ever used before. Charged it around 10 AM yesterday. Just looked at it now and it’s at 60%. I updated it and changed the face before I charged it.
The SpO2 app is a battery hog. This is a hidden app on the Sense. There also are reports that Snore detection, uses the microphone, gobbles up batteries.

I get 6+ days from my 14 month old Sense, but am not using an SpO2 clock face or tracker app, as it was too unreliable, not a premium user (as it wasn't giving anything useful) so don't have snore detection and don't use the GPS.
I use an energy efficient clockface, SimpleClockPro, which runs virtually autonomously from the Fitbit app, also get all my notifications.
Given the reports in the forum stuck with Fitbit App 3.44 and firmware 44.128.5.38.
Use a $20 Bluetooth Oximeter to get SpO2 anytime and reliable heart rate readings.
