Many users have now confirmed that they were able to fix it by entering the stride length themselves. It's worth a try until our team has worked on the solution.
You can find instructions for this here:Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?

Best AnswerHello @Balester and welcome to the Community. You aren't the only one with this issue. Fitbit is aware. There is no time frame for a fix.

Best AnswerSame issue here. Just checked the stride length (which is set to automatic) which seems to have no value for walking stride length. Wondering if this is where the error has happened?
Best AnswerThe person on the Fitbit help chat asked me to adjust my strid length which I did instead of using the automatic setting.
Best AnswerThis week has also proved a problem for me with the GPS accuracy of me Sense. Up until now, the distance was fairly accurate but that changed this week. Now, GPS is generating about a 0.5-0.6 mile difference on a know distance 4.4 miles. I know there have been GPS accuracy problem in the past with the Sense watches but this is the first I've experienced it. Does anyone know of recent change to cause this inaccuracy?
I have a similar but different issue. Twice a day I drive to the park and walk three miles with the dog. At the beginning and end of the walk, I mentally record the steps displayed on the watch. What I the watch says I walked and what the app on my Galaxy phone says I walked never agrees. This morning was typical with 338 steps when I stepped out of the car and 7,499 steps at the end of the walk. (7,161 steps). The Fitbit app on my phone says that I only walked 6,441 steps, a discrepancy of 720 steps (.33 miles). It's normal for the phone app and makes the phone app useless for tracking exercise.
