Doubling Heart Rate

Measurements of heart rate are a close match to my my Polar HR9 chest strap. However when not exercising it appears to double the rate. For instance the charge 6 says my heart rate is 79 but when I check it with the ECG for 30 seconds it says my heart rate is too low .. 46.

So what's the doubling? Did you get another reading from Charge 6 right after doing ECG?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Heart rate is doubling. I’ve restarted, moved the device up my wrist at can’t discern systolic from diastolic beat. The issue is particularly noticeable when resting
