ECG Count Continually Resetting

The first week I was able to get my ECG reading without issue.  Now every time I try to get an ecg reading the count resets to 30 seconds after it hits 25 or so.  I have a heart issue and this is the main reason I purchased this watch!  Have tried resetting the watch and that doesn't help at all.

When I bought the device it said it could do ECG, now that I own it and the function has been implemented, Fitbit support has told me everything from it is not compatible with my phone (which is BS) to it can't detect Afib if I have a cardiac device.  I do not care if it can detect afib, what I care about is getting a reading to send to my cardiologist, which it did the first week.   Now it just keeps resetting on me.  Works fine on my spouse though...  Horrible support from FitBit, will never waste my money on another of their devices if they don't fix this issue.
