Ecg available on canada

Is there any plan to release the ecg app in canada? It is one of the best new feature of this watch so it is highly disapointing to see it is not available to us..

It has to go through an approval process. That would be entirely up to your regulators.

Canada was originally on the list with the USA but newer list for October release has Canada missing.  Hopefully we will get an update soon.

If you change your address in your Fitbit profile to the US, you will get the app. I'm in Canada and I have it.

Where did you get the app? I don't see it as released yet in the US.

Edit: Never mind, it appears it just started showing today. I didn't even have to add it.

Where did you go to change your address?

Go to Fitbit.com, login to your account, go to your dashboard, select the cog/settings, top right. This will take you to Personal Info which you can edit.

I have changed everything in my Personal Info settings to refer to the US.  This allowed me to install the ECG app, however when I try to use it, it tells me that it isn't supported in my location (Canada).  Is there something else that I need to change?  Unfortunately, I will be returning the Sense if I cannot get this working as it doesn't any significant advantage over my Sense 2.

Figured it out - also need to use a VPN to trick the activation is within the US.  You can restore everything back to Canada once the ECG app has been activated on the watch.
