Extremely frustrated with Fitbit Sense notification issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been using firbit for more than 5 years. Last two fitbit products have been sense. I returned first one for notification stopped working. Bought second one thinking first one might have some issue:  notification worked fine for 5-6 months; and then suddenly one day (no update to either OS) those stopped working.

I have had so many chats with Fitbit support that it was frustrating to even think of going to them. Last time fitibit support had said if notification is not working; i need to accept that. What a BS.

Any way:  I have tried everything posted on the web:  which is quite a lot.  You would think that so many reports of this issue will prompt the company to do something about it. Not Fitbit.  This is my last attempt to put it on the forum, since I never posed the question. I just followed answers to the same issue questions. I am giving up Fitibit if this does not work.

  What is not working.

  No text notification.

  No call notification

  No hourly step reminders.

  Basically no reminder/notification.

And what has been done  ( believe me literally gazillion times)

  1) Check of all the notification settings:  phone setting for notification, Fitibit app for notification settings.

  2) Turn on and off:  (toggle on and off);  Blue Tooth, notification settings. Shut down device:  added it back.

3) Deleted/Reinstalled app.

 4) Removed/Re-added device.

5) Added the device to another phone.

     Nothing has worked so far.

Literally tearing my hairs on this. Family members have Charge models:  which work fine.

I am ready to move away from Fitibit it does not work now. I want to bring attention to this issue to the Fitibt community.

Hi, did you swipe right on the watch to get to Quick Settings and check both do not disturb and sleep are not enabled?

Oh My God:  yup that was it. Actually not "DnD" but another setting "Sleep mode"  .  I never did anything to that; somehow that was turned on. Thank you so much. Still sticking with Fitbit for the time being 😀!!!! Thank you once again so much
