Fall Detection on Sense & Versa 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve read a few of these posts and it seems the Fitbit devs are not listening.

Major brands Apple & Garmin have this feature of fall detection built-in and have done for sometime.
I’ve been looking for a new watch with this feature plus more battery life as I had a blackout the other day and was out for 25 mins approximately. I never had my Apple Watch on due to it being charged. So I was really lucky as I came too on my own and was able to then shout my son for help.
Come on Fitbit your probably missing out on a large market with this feature alone.
Everyone who reads this please vote as the more votes it gets the better chances we have of the devs etc listening.

Thanks for reading

Note that the product development teams are unlikely to be aware of votes given to this post but they will be aware of votes given in the feature suggestion section of the community at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/idb-p/features

I see that someone has already created a suggestion for a fall detection feature so as well as voting here it's worth voting for that suggestion too. You can find it at https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Fallen-Detection-amp-Notification-App/idi-p/3566...

@SteveH- Fall detection is such an obvious and life saving feature, it should have been implemented long ago. Its not much point having a smart health watch that doesn't even provide any help to stop you dying. It would be easy to implement a basic feature based on sudden significant heart rate change, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Incidentally it is not sure that requests from users' posts have any less or more voice, than feature suggestions which would seem there primarily to appease users and raise hopes.

Even requests elevated by the moderators to development meet with little success.
