The watch will not recharge. Electrodes and the back are clean. It is connected properly and will not recharge. This has be a problem for a while that I was able to rectify before. This time nothing I have tried with regard to cleaning the connection points works.

Hi, there is quite a common fault with the charge cables.
One of the 4 pins comes loose. Carefully check the 4 pins are equally prominent and securely located, especially bottom left [with the cable on the right]

This is a very disappointing feature (second to the battery not STAYING charged for more than a day). I just bought the watch from FITBIT online thru this app. After a few times wouldn’t charge. I reached out to C/S and they wanted me to send both charger and watch back and after period of time they would send new ones back out. I just ordered a new charger for $20 bucks and it charges fine. I think they should have just sent me the new charger at no cost but oh well. The issue with these chargers is one of the pin sinks down into the base and stops connecting to watch. THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS WATCH!

Hi @Misssss - you can insist that C/S send you a new charge cable under warranty of your watch is still covered, or you can buy another charge cable quite easily. A more sturdy one can be bought for a few dollars if you don't mind waiting [click photo].
