While sat on the sofa doing nothing, my heart rate on my watch and app shot up to 130-140 for no apparent reason. Since I certainly did not feel it was this high, I counted the beats per minute by feeling the pulse in my wrist. It was around 69 both times I checked.
Can you explain the reason for this inaccuracy? My mum had atrial fibrillation so this is disturbing for me and had I not manually checked my HR I would have been very concerned.
