My FitBit Sense was working fine until today - however now the red light on the back is permanently on, and it's not measuring my heart rate, or updating the steps. At one point it was just displaying the FitBit logo for ages, and got very warm at another point, which made it clear something's not right... so after a bit of searching the world wide web I tried the reboot... the result of this has varied from getting stuck on the FitBit logo to switching back on showing completely random stats (e.g. nearly double the number steps)... but each and every time it doesn't fix the red light on the back being permanently on, or not measuring my heart rate &/or steps.
Any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated. Thank you 🐵
...oh and the red light remains on even when I have turned the FitBit off!

When you see the Fitbit logo, hold the button, wait for the display to go off, but still hold the button, wait for the vibration, then briefly release and immediately press again.
The Fitbit logo will appear again. When it disappears again (this time without waiting for a vibration), immediately release and press the button again. Wait for the next vibration, then release and wait for the device to restart.
Good luck.

Thank you for your reply @giordan, but I think it’s life is officially over; the screen is black all the time now and nothing seems to bring it back on :o(
Yes @Guy_ , it officially decided its life is over, the screen is black all the time now. Has the green light on the back 24/7, but the screen is 100% black, 100% of the time… so I skipped to the shop and treated myself to a Sense 2 ha! ha! Thank you for your time responding 🐵
