Fitbit ECG app shows network issue on Android

Recently the ECG app on my android phone is showing a network connection issue. This was working before and seems like a regression. Tried on my wife's phone and same issue.

Hi @RKkaul. Welcome to the Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Just to confirm, do you see this error message when using the ECG app on your Sense? Or is it when checking your results in the Fitbit app? Also, do you recall since when this started to happen?

In the meantime, let me recommend the following steps:

  1. On the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Sense > Apps.
  2. Tap ECG and make sure there aren't pending updates for this app. Also, check if the permissions are enabled.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  6. Try using the ECG app on your watch and then check your results in the Fitbit app.

Hope this helps.

I have got the same issue as RKkaul, I can't open the ECG app on mobile phone, When I try to open ECG, it stated "Oops, looks like there's no Internet Connection", while there is no problem to open other apps.

I try to reboot my mobile, still doesn't work.

Hi @QQma. It's great to see you around.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the steps tried on your own. Just to confirm, do you mean that you're unable to see your ECG results? Or is the issue when trying to access the ECG App settings? Does the same happen when using either Wi-Fi and mobile data connection?

In the meantime, I'd recommend the following steps:

  1. Remove your Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen, tap Force Stop and reboot your phone one more time.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Try checking your ECG results or the ECG App settings one more time.

Hope this helps.
