I haven't been able to set an Alarm on my Sense for about two months now. When I contacted help chat, they said it was a 'known issue'. Is this true? And when is it going to be fixed?

Hi, @berdistheword , I have just tested the alarm app on my Sense and am not having any trouble setting one. I also am not aware of any known issue with this. Can you explain a little more about what happens when you try to set an alarm? There is always someone here to help.

So I just got done with the "chat help" on the fitbit sight. They said it's a "known issue" which is what I was told over two months ago. They also just told me now that not all users are experiencing it (as evidenced by the fact that you say yours is working fine). When I click on my Alarm icon, the "Set an Alarm" screen comes up with the +NEW ALARM at the bottom. When I click on the + new alarm, the screen just blinks and stays the same. I used the alarm for over a year. It just stopped working over two months ago. I've done the whole "restart" etc thing. It doesn't help. My software is up to date. I feel like I have a "lemon" since others are not experiencing this. I used that alarm every day. I'm ready to abandon this thing and go for another smart watch. They keep saying they're working hard to resolve, but that was over two months ago. And when I google it, I find no other people with the same problem. Even the forum on fitbit.

Hi @berdistheword - when you say you did a restart, was that a shutdown from watch Settings menu? Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charge cable to restart it and charge it.
Did you also try a factory reset from the watch Settings, About menu? But if your watch is outside warranty and it fails (as it does sometimes) you will have no watch.
If you do do it, wait at least a minute before doing anything with the watch.
It will also need to be re-setup afterwards which can take a while.
It is surprising that this is a known issue with the alarms as there don't seem to have been any other reports of it.

I can't set an alarm either.
I press alarm and it says Alarm List Full.
Remove old alarms before creating a new one.
No option to remove any alarm.
I asked the Google assistant to set an alarm and she said, "I can't start any more alarms. Try deleting an older one first."
I then asked her to cancel all alarms, and she can't find any alarms.
Useless.

Hi, @Rosalie_b , to remove an alarm tap on the alarm and swipe up you will see the option to remove it there.
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!

@Guy_ and @berdistheword it is not advisable to do a factory reset except under the instruction of Customer Support.

Hello - I tried the restart, I tried the shut down. I haven't tried the Factory reset since that will erase all my data. Although after this experience, I don't think I care anymore. The fact that this thing is only 2 years old and now the alarm doesn't work is weak. Too bad they don't back their products. I'll be purchasing an Apple watch. I've had nothing but problems with this Sense from the beginning.

I just bought the Sense and I’m gf acing the same issue. Missed several different alarms in 2 days. (6:30am; 7:00am). Settings are correct and other random alarms seem to work.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @KB4.O. I´m sorry to hear that you have missed several different alarms in 2 days.
For Fitbit Sense, set alarms on your device. For instructions, see On-device. Do you only miss morning mentioned alarms?
Please remove all the alarms you have set and restart your Sense pressing the button for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo. Add the alarms again and let me know if they still don´t work.
Keep on visiting the forums.
