Support, my Fitbit Sense side button stopped working. It does not respond when I press it anymore. It doesn't vibrate anymore. Pressing it no longer allows me to turn on the screen. If I tap the screen twice I can still get the screen to turn on, but the side button stopped working. The side button used to work.
I have tried shutting down the Fitbit Sense. But after I shut it down I couldn't turn it back on using the side button, because it stopped working. I had to charge it in order to force it to turn back on.
Could you help? How can I fix the side button to make it work again? Do I need to send it in for repair?
I only bought it ~5 weeks ago.

Other people are reporting this issue.
Did it work again after it started on charge?
Seems like this might be a common issue. Possibly due to a recent update, if it was working before.
In which case its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

No it did not work again after I charged it. I’ll also contact Fitbit directly.

My fitbit button stopped working this weekend. I'm on the 2nd factory reset attempt since some indications are that may help, but most seem to be it won't. Between this and fitbit flat out refusing to send me the kit so I can return my ionic (or just send me the refund, I'd be ok with that, too!), I'm seriously looking at small claims court to get my money back.,

Update: Second attempt at factory reset still didn't work. This appears to be a known problem fitbit does not wish to fix. This combined with their refusal to actually send me my rebate kit for my Ionic has me out of here. I will not have another fitbit unless somewhere down the road the company changes.
