My Fitbit Sense has suddenly stopped syncing, I noticed I wasn't getting notifications, so I tried to resync it, but that didn't work. I have tried re/uninstalling the app, updating app, restarting watch, restarting phone, turn on/off bluetooth, forgetting the watch under bluetooth, and then I even removed the watch from the app devices, but now I can't add it back since it wont pair. I can get as far as putting in the pairing code, but the connecting button just spins. Help chat told me to factory reset, which didnt work and then gave me a discount to buy a new one. Pretty irritating since the watch is not even 2 years old yet! Anyone else having this problem???
I have the exact same issue. I have followed directions i had found on internet. forget sense controls on bluetooth on phone. The other usual things start and stop watch, restart phone. These are all just temporary fixes until it loses connection again. 😞

I doubt it. This issue affects multiple watch models, not just the Sense. And there has not been one comment in any of the watch forums from a Fitbit employee that the dev team is aware of the problem and have this issue on their radar.
Hey!! Bei mir weiterhin auch nicht. Habe es schon mehrfach gemeldet. Trainieregerade für nen Walk. Bin vorgestern fast 20km gelaufen.
What appears to have worked for me now for over 24 hours is: go to fitbit app on cell phone. Delete the Sense from it. Power off watch. Add it back as if it were a new Sense watch within the app, follow the prompts and turn watch back on. I followed the process just like the first time i added it and i did not check the box to allow for taking and recieving phone call (sense controls). So far all is good. That functionality was so crappy anyway that i don't feel like i have lost anything.
Yep, Sense Controls seems to disconnect often. Every time I have to re-pair my watch & phone Sense Controls disconnects from Bluetooth within a day or two.
Best AnswerHaving the same issue. Just got a new Sense 2 weeks ago and I have gotten the watch to sync once. now doing everything that the internet says does not work. I should of went with an Apple smartwatch cause I have read that the battery life on the Apple smartwatch holds the charge longer than the fit bit. I think I will go back to using my lets fit watch which I only paid $35 for it and have it for over a year and only synced it once when i purchased it and never had to do it again. It is so frustrating. If the watch did not cost so much I would just toss it in the garbage.
Not impressed with the issues. I have to do a complete factory reset about every 48 hours, delete the app from my phone and start over. It takes multiple times doing this to get it to sync back up. Purchased late August 2023 started having issues at the end of November. Wonder if they will take it back? Lot of money spent on somethingthat does not work!!
What is most frustrating is the total lack of response by a Fitbit employee. Over 2000 posts related to sync issues the past few months and not one response that the dev team is aware of the problem. I work in software development, I fully understand not giving customers dates or promises that something will be fixed by a certain date. I get that, it's industry standard. But just telling your customers that you know the issue exists and are aware of it goes a long way toward maintaining positive developer - customer relations. Just a simple "we are aware of the problem and looking into it..." would be nice.
Mine doesn't sync. When I check the charge screen the battery icon has a line through it. I then press to reset and the Fitbit has con comes up. The blocked battery has disappeared and I can then sync but after a few hours the same thing happens and I need to go through the same rigmarole 🤬
Best AnswerI am having the same problem. Phone recognizes the watch and shows up as connected in Bluetooth, but can not get the two to pair. Turned both devices off and restarted. Deleted the app and restarted..nothing. Can't even correct the time to wear as a regular watch.
Best AnswerYes I'm having exactly the same issues as from about 3 months ago. All my watch does now is track steps. It's also less than 2 years old. Very disappointed as I rely on health alerts and these now no longer work. I've tried the same fixes that they recommend and nothing works
Restarting watch then going to wifi in the app to connect to the existing wifi connection buys me a day or so of connection
