Fitbit Sense Sleep Mode not working properly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi there. I just got new Fitbit sense. I've setup my sleep mode to be 11:00pm - 6:00am. It's 10:00pm right now and sleep mode keeps turning on automatically. I've tried disabling it, enabling it, turning off the Fitbit and on... Still experiencing this issue?

Hi @Martina0914 - are you swiping the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings to check Sleep mode?

Presumably you are wearing the watch and have set the Sleep Schedule in the watch Settings correctly [without enabling Sleep mode] as that is quite confusing.

Hi there. I've set up the 11-6am set up on setting page. However, last
night at 10pm, I could see the sleep mode sign (moon) on and sleep mode was
enabled on the quick session mode.

The watch wouldn't turn on if I twist my arm to look at it.

@Martina0914  - when the watch is in sleep mode, wrist wake is disabled, the screen is dimmed and no notifications will come.

Yes, but my issue is sleep mode gets turned on, BEFORE the sleep mode time
I've set up. My sleep mode was set for 11pm-6am, but sleep mode turned on
automatically at 10Pm ish...

@Martina0914  - very strange, there must be a logical explanation.

Make sure you turn off sleep mode manually outside the Sleep schedule.

Curious, is your Fitbit app time zone on manual or automatic? If it's turning on too early, it sounds like it's on the wrong time zone.

@Martina0914  - have you by any chance also setup an Alexa or Google Assistant Sleep schedule?

I have Alexa connected but no sleep schedule there 😛

@Martina0914  - one way to narrow down what is causing this behaviour is to turn off sleep mode at 9pm and turn off Bluetooth on the phone as well.

If that resolves the issue, the turning on is coming from some external source.
