My 4 months old watch needs every 36 hours charge. I have everything disabled, no notifications, no always on display, nothing. Are you aware of this problem or my device is defective? I am an android user.

Hello there,

I enabled my snoring monitoring and my battery life changed to needing charging every 36 hours.

Disabled and is back to requires charging once a week

I see you have already disabled everything but I would recheck snoring monitoring hasn't been turned on

App - Sleep/Settings/Detect Snoring

I'm having the same battery issue.  My fitbit typically would last about five days until I went on vacation a couple of weeks ago.  It then suddenly would only last 36-48 hours.  I figured it had something to do with the way I was charging it (or outlet power supply) while traveling.  However, I've returned home now and it hasn't improved.  I too have everything disabled and changed the display to "dim", but it still doesn't last.  I think I'll have to call customer service, but figured that I'd try looking here first.

I should also probably add that I'm using the same clock face that I always have and don't have the snoring detection or SO2 enabled.

This is a known problem introduced recently as you have found.

It may be fixed in a later Fitbit App version.

In the meantime try turning off the phone's Bluetooth and Shutdown the watch.

After 10 seconds place the watch on the charger, to restart it and fully charge it and see how it goes.

[Obviously calls and notifications won't work while you verify if it is a Fitbit App problem]

@ZiniaZ - where exactly are you enabling/disabling snore detection?

Your solution completely fixed the problem!  Thank you!  I initially left bluetooth off for an entire day and the battery was lasting as it normally did.  Then even after enabling bluetooth, the battery now lasts five days instead of a day and a half.  Very relieved.

It is unacceptable to suggest turning off functions that people like …in fact to turn off the functions that make it a Smart Watch shouldn’t be a suggestion at all.

100% 👏 couldn't put it better.

Fitbit market this all singing, all dancing watch with new features and a great long life battery, then you find out to achieve this, you need to disable features!!

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.

Thanks for the details provided and your efforts while working on this matter. As with any other electronic device, certain features will impact the battery life, specially if they're frequently used. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't use any function of your Sense, but just to take them into consideration as you can turn them off if you won't use them at that moment. Please note you may have to charge your watch more often when tracking SpO2, GPS or Snore data.

I'm sorry you're having this experience with your Sense and if you haven't done so, follow the tips described in this help article. If the issue still persists, try getting in touch with our Support team so they can investigate and see what can be done for you. Click here to get connected with them via chat or phone.
