Fitbit Sense battery drains in a day - Android

My Fitbit Sense has been requiring a recharge every day or every other day through the last month. I have turned all the features off, including the Bluetooth connection to my phone and it still dies every day. I've even performed a factory reset to see if that would help but no results. I got this watch for the long battery life and have had it barely a year.

I am disappointed that it seems to already be end of life after such a short period. Is this a case of a bad battery or anything else that can be fixed without requiring me to just go buy a new smartwatch? And if it's the latter, it won't be a Fitbit that's for sure...

I just upgraded from a 4 year old Ionic that lasted 4+ days to the Sense and am seeing roughly 2 days of battery life. Using the Fitbit app on an Android 12 phone.  I don't use an SpO2 clock face but I do notice that in Health Measurements it shows my data each day so suspect it is tracking it somehow. I don't use Always-On-Display. Curious to see where this thread goes and hoping to get this resolved before the date arrives when I can still return this item. Thanks!

Same here! I have to charge it every other day, and yet I don't use Always-On-Display and other options such as snore detection, GPS, etc. What a disappointment.

Same here, I am having to charge it every other day or if I'm lucky every 2 days. I always forget to put it back on once it's charged so there are weeks that I go without using it since I'm so forgetful. Not as advertised at all.

After doing some research, I have done the following to my Sense:

  1. Use the Fitbit App to go to Discover and scroll down to select Clocks & App Gallery then choose Apps - I uninstalled Spotify, Pandora, Starbucks, Deezer, and SpO2 Tracker (suspect this was the main culprit)
  2. Use the Fitbit App to turn off Snore Detection (plenty of instructions on this site to do that)
  3. Use the Sense to cycle through each workout to turn off GPS

Now, I use up roughly 10% of the battery during the day and 5% at night - this is giving me over 6 days of use on a single charge. Hope this helps others that can afford to live without any of those features.

I an in the same exact boat. Loved my Ionic but it finally started to fail. It lasted 5 days normally with everything turned on. The Sense is a huge disappointment.

Thank you for the information but I am not sure what the reason was for buying a smart watch with all of these bells and whistles is if you cannot use them. I don't need all of them but geeze.. if I wanted a basic wrist watch I would not have paid $200 for it.
