My Fitbit Sense has been requiring a recharge every day or every other day through the last month. I have turned all the features off, including the Bluetooth connection to my phone and it still dies every day. I've even performed a factory reset to see if that would help but no results. I got this watch for the long battery life and have had it barely a year.
I am disappointed that it seems to already be end of life after such a short period. Is this a case of a bad battery or anything else that can be fixed without requiring me to just go buy a new smartwatch? And if it's the latter, it won't be a Fitbit that's for sure...
I just upgraded from a 4 year old Ionic that lasted 4+ days to the Sense and am seeing roughly 2 days of battery life. Using the Fitbit app on an Android 12 phone. I don't use an SpO2 clock face but I do notice that in Health Measurements it shows my data each day so suspect it is tracking it somehow. I don't use Always-On-Display. Curious to see where this thread goes and hoping to get this resolved before the date arrives when I can still return this item. Thanks!
Same here, I am having to charge it every other day or if I'm lucky every 2 days. I always forget to put it back on once it's charged so there are weeks that I go without using it since I'm so forgetful. Not as advertised at all.
After doing some research, I have done the following to my Sense:
Now, I use up roughly 10% of the battery during the day and 5% at night - this is giving me over 6 days of use on a single charge. Hope this helps others that can afford to live without any of those features.
I an in the same exact boat. Loved my Ionic but it finally started to fail. It lasted 5 days normally with everything turned on. The Sense is a huge disappointment.
Thank you for the information but I am not sure what the reason was for buying a smart watch with all of these bells and whistles is if you cannot use them. I don't need all of them but geeze.. if I wanted a basic wrist watch I would not have paid $200 for it.
