I received an email today telling me that is was urgent that I update my Fitbit Sense due to possible battery overheating. I cannot get this update to install, so I am stuck with a clockface telling me I have to update. When I try to update, the progress meter never moves and I get a big red X.
I have factory reset my Fitbit. Cleared all data on my Fitbit app. Readded the Sense to my Fitbit. Rebooted my phone and the Fitbit. Nothing seems to work.
Current firmware version is 44.128.6.17

Well said. All the effected customers deserve a fair resolution to this overheating issue, and all the other problems caused by said update.

I don't think this response is detailed enough. The link is to generic advice about not being able to update. My Sense won't connect to wifi and won't do an update over Bluetooth because is says it is not connected yet my phone says it is and it syncs data. Can you explain why that it the case?

I’ve noticed the watch is now bugging me about setting up my wallet. Mostly when I go to charge watch.

Your update killed my Sense and I have (Like a lot of others here) spent weeks attempting to reinstall/update firmware and app.
With the constant starting over at the beginning if it fails partially through the update.
Hate this.

My Sense2 is finally syncing steps correctly, however since the firmware update I went from a 6 day battery charge to charging every 3 to 4 days. If Google wants to sell me another watch they are going to have prove that their watch can hold a charge for at least 6 days as I run nothing except counting steps, the time, and the display only shows if I push the button.
