Fitbit Sense got disconnected and not syncing

Hi

 

I purchased Fitbit sense less than a month ago. 
 
Suddenly the Bluetooth would not connect. So I tried factory resetting the watch. Initally it showed a large red cross mark on the screen. Then it started updating using the app's Bluetooth. It's been more than two hours and the screen is still stuck with the circular progress tracker showing minimal change.
 
How to resolve this?

In fact, after 16% update and waiting for 2 hours, the Bluetooth connection got lost and it's again stuck.
