Fitbit Sense keeps turning on for no reason

every couple minutes the watch buzzes and turns on, as if it got a notification. but when I look at the screen there's nothing

 it's constant and won't stop. have tried factory reset & update

It is indeed a funny behavior. Can you try turning on Do Not Disturb mode? This will turn off all buzzes and notifications.
