Fitbit Sense not tracking my exercise

My sense used to track my exercise automatically, runs, aerobic exercises, etc. Now it doesn’t pick up anything. I reset my sense and still nothing. Any suggestions?

I have noticed the same problem. I had a problem with my stress management score not showing for weeks, that was just solved and now I have this problem. I had noticed before that my bike ride was not automatically recorded but it has happened before that it was a bit to short to register. But yesterday I went for a long ride and it didn't record anything.

Have you checked your settings?

Tap the exercise icon. Tap the settings cog in the top right corner, '

I checked my settings, automatic recognition is on and I changed the time to see if that would fix it but no automatic tracking since a few days now.

@SuzyQ3 Shutdown and turning back on is also a common recommendation for tracking issues.

@eezeepee That is always one of the first things I do with any fitbit problem and often the solution, unfortunately again not this time. I already tried all the usual solutions, I forgot the sense in my Bluetooth settings, restarted the watch, forced stop the app.......nothing fixes it for now.

I did check that and all of the settings are set to record anything 15 minutes or longer

I did reset my Fitbit, is that the same as shutting down or are there different steps to doing that?

I noticed this starting on Thursday.  I used the Exercise/Walk app to record a workout, and yesterday the Bike app.  Workouts did not show up, nor did steps taken during the day.

I tried synching, and the watch would not sync (failed) in the Fitbit app.  I followed the steps in https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866.htm and then synced.  It took a bit longer than usual, but the sync did succeed and it appears that the previous workouts and other metrics are present in the Fitbit app.
