Strange issue today with my Fitbit Sense. I spent about 6 hours driving today with some stops for fuel / toilet breaks and my Sense tells me I have walked 12,586 steps and 81 floors, but only burned 3,607 calories. I know that I did not walk that many steps today and these results seem wildly inaccurate. What could cause this?

Bumpy roads can cause steps to be tracked and the more bumpy the road the more steps will be tracked in error. However, as your heart rate would be fairly normal it would not have thought you were doing other than a gentle walk so the calories would be low.
If you got some of those steps in error when driving uphill then that would count as floors.

Thanks for the info SteveH.. I thought it might have been due to the bumpy road as it was one of the worst I had travelled on. Just unfortunate that I had achieved 3 Fitbit awards, but not in a fair manner. Also, there were quite a few sudden dips in the road which probably contributed to the floor count.
