My sense stopped working not even 2 weeks after getting it. It has just been been replaced, and I now need to set this one up. My question is ...
I signed up to the Premium subscription (with 6 months free) when I bought the devicr but am already 2 months into the 6 month 'free' period but have in fact not had any use of it due to the device being faulty.
So I have received my replacement device and now need to set it up ...
How do I cancel my current subscription snd start from scratch so that I have use if a full 6 month 'free' subscription period? I in any case want to subscribe with a different email address?

Do you know if they replaced it with a brand new device or is it a refurbished device?

@SunsetRunner Fitbit Sense is tied to your account and not to your device. So the 6-month trial is still going and has the same end date. If you use a different email address, I believe that that will give you another 6 month trial. But of course all that information that you already have would be lost but it would only be less than 2 weeks worth.

I have no idea but I would hope a brand new one since my brand new one just stopped working

I am having ongoing issues with my Sense, which is now 36 days old. Tech support can't solve the issue.
They told me they would only replace with a refurbished. I am fighting them on this.
I honestly think tech support is trying to run out the clock so I cannot return it for a refund.
I would check with them to see what they say about your replacement.

Thank you for your response. I am not concerned about the information as I hardly had a chance to use it before it started giving trouble. So how do I go about deleting everything and starting from scratch under a different email address?

@SunsetRunner Sign out of the your account in the app then creat a new account with a different email. You should be offered a Fitbit Premium trial during the setup. The watch I'm using was my wife's from her purchase in August 2020. I started using it in December 2021 and it made no difference it wasn't brand new.
