Is it normal? Does that have to be the case? Watching the video, you can see that only a few cheap Chinese devices catch the pulse in the sausage:

Fitbit Sense what is measured here placed on a wooden surface - pulse ?! But so Fitbit Sense is a smart device not from China and not for 4€.

Moderator edit: subject for clarity

Небольшой тест пульсометров умных часов на примере измерения пульса у колбасы. Тест конечно несерьезный, но доля правды в нем есть. В тесте участвуют: Xiaomi Mi Band 2, Xiaomi Mi Band 3, Amazfit Bip, Amazfit GTR, DT No.1, noname браслет M3, Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. Канал: ...

As I understand it, in this case, the best thing to do with Fitbit Sense is to either put it on the screen, because only then does the "pulse" meter turn off or does Fitbit Sense turn off completely every 30 minutes before going to the shower, and so on. Because otherwise Fitbit Sense doesn’t turn off smartly.

Hello @R.M, it's great to see you around! Thanks for the video and for the information!

If you were wearing your Sense some minutes before putting it on the wooden surface, it is possible and normal that Heart Rate will still show up. After that, please restart your Sense following the instructions here

Or you can turn off your Sense if you're not wearing it. Take into consideration that vibrations or any other movements can cause your Sense to track false information.

Hope this helps!

Hi, @WilsonFitbit,

I’ve already written in support of Fitbit on Twitter and they can’t help it. Fitbit Sense and placed on your side shows a "pulse" on your wrist. Look at the picture: Fitbit Sense VS Huawei Honor Band 4. Fitbit team, your programmers are lazy losers.

By the way, he wasn’t on any arm at the time and the photo was taken after the video when Fitbit Sense was still lying on its side 10 minutes later.

And. I understand if it still showed up to 50-100, but when it showed 128, it would dismiss such programmers as lazy-losers immediately.
