Fitbit app won't load

Purchased a Sense to replace my Charge4 (which was super easy to set up).

Have been trying to get the initial download to go, and it keeps cutting out.  It goes back to that (now irritating) downward arrow saying I need the app.

When I set up my Samsung 7 to start the download it all went well, but cut out around 50%. It won't restart the download no matter what I try, WiFi or Bluetooth.

Is there a way to restart the process to get it going that I don't understand (I'm pretty much a technological neanderthal). This has gone from exciting to frustrating over the past few hours.

The process to start the setup can be done by choosing the Add Device.
