Has anyone had issues with fitness score recalculating? My score had been very good to excellent since 2015, but over the last week has dropped over 2 categories to mid point on the average score. Nothing has really changed in my data. I have contacted Fitbit twice but have been fobbed off as if I have suddenly became unfit in a week. I have a sense.

There have been recent updates to the Fitbit App which may have caused this. You presumably have an iPhone.

I have yes. Do you know if this will level itself out or if there has been some recalibration? Thank you so much. Fitbit never even asked me, the just keep copying and pasting from the help pages about how the score is calculated.

Seems like this is a common issue [with heart rate]. Possibly due to the recent Fitbit App update [3.37], as it was working before.
In which case its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
