Fitbit on the fritz

My Fitbit Sense went dead....then it restarted. Flickering and carrying on! The home button didn't work for 2 days, so I shut it down and turned it back on. It's now functioning, in part. It appears I do not have a heart...... debatable! So the heart rate monitor won't work, which is a shame as I specifically bought this watch after finding out I have a heart condition. I've Googled every forum, fitbit help and all other information available to me. The information I received is that I should be happy with getting what I got out of this watch. Really?!

I don't believe that is value for money at all. Yes, I'm out of warranty, of course I am. So, can anyone give me a hint to restart my heart rate monitor? Its

Hi @Queenslander13 - if there are other symptoms, like short battery life or getting hot while charging there may be a watch fault but as a first choice try changing the clock face.

Next try a full Shutdown from the watch Settings menu. After at least 10 seconds place on charge to restart it and charge it.

Lastly try a factory reset from the watch Settings, About Sense menu. But be careful to leave the watch for several minutes while it does it.

Remove the Bluetooth Sense entries from the phone and set it up again.

I have resorted to a full factory reset and still there are no lights on the back working and no heart rate being recorded. Any further tips or tricks?

Thanks.

@Queenslander13- if after the factory reset and setup it is not working when worn, then the watch has a fault, perhaps from water getting in.

It probably needs replacing but first try chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
