Begging the developers at Fitbit to please improve the food tracking portion of the app. It is not only very clunky but the choices are very limited and do not include some of the most basic foods found out to eat. It also doesn't allow you to build your own meal and document calories, fat, carbs, protein...which would at least be a nice interim step. The MyFitnessPal food tracking is literally awesome and I used that for a very long time but I'm trying to keep everything together in Fitbit, especially since I'm a Premium user, but the food tracking is just so disappointing. I find myself picking the "closest" foods and really not getting an accurate picture. Thank you for your consideration.

Great idea! You will want to submit this to the suggestions forum. Maybe a moderator will move it for you.

Hiya, I second everything you say. I "custom" a meal. But the following week forget all the exact ingredients. So the two meals are rarely the same. Would be nice to see a list of what's been added.

Yes, I agree! And now My Fitness Pal requires that you pay in order to use the barcode feature at all.
We really need Fitbit to lean into the gap. I'm already paying for Fitbit Premium. Please fix the food tracking!

Hi, @jlaughl, I use MyFitnessPal in conjunction with the Fitbit app, you can link them together as noted in this article How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app? This produces a two-way alignment, data put in the Fitbit app (weight, exercise) copies into MyFitnessPall and data from MyFitnessPal (food intake) copies into the Fitbit app.
I hope this is helpful.
Cheers

Hi @Gr4ndp4, I also do this, however, My Fitness Pal has now made changes to their app and requires a paid subscription (premium) in order to use the barcode feature to scan food items.
I already pay for Fitbit Premium. I do not also want to pay for MyFitnessPal ($20 a month) for two apps and a total of $30 per month to track my food easily.
