Will i get the free 6 month trial of premium no matter where i purchase my sense? I only see it on the main website

Yes. I bought my Sense at Beat Buy and I was able to activate the 6 month premium trial.

Does that include the free 6 months they recently gave to everyone? which would be a pity as I only had an old fitbit with not many sensors 😞

Yes, it does include every kind of premium you had in the past. See also the footnote in the shop:
†Free trial is activated upon device purchase and cannot be gifted. Valid payment method required. Cancel before free trial ends to avoid subscription fees. New Premium users only. Content and features subject to change. Subject to our Terms for Paid Services.
Hence plan carefully. Unfortunately the free 6-month trial which comes with the Sense was announced several days later than the offer to have some free months premium for installed base customers. Really bad timing.

Register a new account with a new email and see if that gives you the free 6 months.

Yes, @FB_Ray, this workaround will fix this issue as a new user account is noz linked to your former one. Hence no data synchronisation between both accounts etc. Should be also considered for the affected users which are only installed base Fitbit customers. A totally new Fitbit customer started with Sense does not have this challenge.

I was in the beginning of a free trial when I bought a new Fitbit so that I would get 12 months of premium I purchased it and now just a month later they're trying to charge me for it so I will cancel the premium service and I will not buy another Fitbit although this is my fifth one!! if this is how they're going to treat their customers with no phone number to call and no email to try I'll go by an Apple watch and pay the money there where I know that I'll get service 😡
