As the end of the year beckons when will Google Assistant be officially available in Australia? Fitbit had committed to the end of 2020.

Considering that Australia is blocking the merger currently, I would think not until they get past that.

Hey thanks for your response.  I believe the roll-out of Google assistant was independent of the merger and was just supposed to be an additional feature like Alexa currently available on their watches (or like how  assistant can be found on different appliances) . Previously provided timeline for Australia and several other markets was end of the year but doesn't look like its going to happen.
