Google assistant started disconnecting again from my Sense. This happened to me for a few weeks last year, but it was solved by fitbit. Now it's happening again. I reconnect, and after a couple of hours the watch says I have to reconnect Bluetooth again. Anyone else having the same issue?

Please refer to last time this happened and fix again

Thanks.
Every week there is a different issue, a different problem with the watch.

Same here. Was going to contact support but looks like they're aware, thanks.

My Sense has just started doing this at some point in the last couple weeks, I assume after one of the Android app updates. It seems to disconnected two, maybe three times per day - it's always disconnected when I wake up in the morning, and then seems to disconnect again at some point in the evening. After I reconnect it works fine throughout the day though.
Really, incredibly frustrating to have to reconnect it twice a day.

I was really hoping this was just a one-off issue for only me. Fingers crossed this is resolved more quickly than last time.

9:30:41 AM Mary: From here, I'll be checking your case with our support team to see further what we can do here for you.
9:30:42 AM Mary: Since checking this may take some time, I'll be sending you an email once I've got a response from them.
9:31:23 AM Me: ok
9:31:42 AM Me: i was told by a previous rep (you can check the logs)?
9:32:02 AM Me: that there's a beta version not available to the public yet that I could try to see if it's resolved.
9:32:41 AM Mary: Thanks for sharing that with me.
9:33:47 AM Mary: I understand you, however I can see here that your Fitbit app is updated. From here what I can do is to coordinate this with our higher support team.
So no resolution. no email received.

I'm having the same issue. I think this is happening whenever my watch goes out of BT range of my phone.
I am able to manually work around this by going into the Fitbit app and setting up Google Assistant again, but that only works for so long. At least it's better than having to restart phone / watch / re-pair / etc.
Hope they have a fix for it soon...

The same is happening for several of us, there's already a thread here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Sense/Google-assistant-keeps-disconnecting/td-p/5654014

I'm having the problem even when my phone is within BT range and, as far as I know, still connected.
Setting it up again from app works but having to do it 2-3 times a day is really annoying.

I was talking to them. They are aware of the issue and are working on fixing it. No time line given. 😔

Same here. Fingers crossed this isn't nefarious planned obsolescence, and their "fix" is to buy a Pixel Watch 3.

For the last couple days it's been routinely disconnecting around 7 am when my phone and watch are in the same room. I can only get it to reconnect/sync when I Force Stop the app, clear the cache, then re-open the app to sync. I still need to go into Voice Assistant and reconnect Google. Sometimes I need to repeat these steps more than once a day.
This is an issue FitBit had less than a year ago. Interestingly, it coincides with the Google takeover and mirrors the same problem many users shared with the Google Nest, which I finally threw away after a year because Google did not fix the known connectivity problems. Ominous foreshadowing?

I absolutely WILL NOT, under ANY circumstances, EVER, buy one of their watches. I paid over $200 for this watch. They can bite me, I'm not buying another watch. I have 20 perfectly fine mechanical watches that I'll use instead.

I saw that an update was available today and I had SO MUCH HOPE!
Still disconnecting.
I went so far as to factory reset my watch, log out of the app, force close it, clear cache, delete data, uninstall app, clean up phone with ccleaner, power off, reboot to the Android menu screen, clear cache, reboot phone, reinstall app, go through the ENTIRE SETUP ALL OVER AGAIN just like brand new, sit through the watch update, make sure all preferences and permissions are set to "always allow", reconnect Google Assistant AND AFTER ALL THAT..... It still disconnects even with the new update.

Also got the update, still disconnecting for me as well. This stinks of engineered obsolesence to me... Too bad, fitbit was such a great brand before google bought them.

For me the problem has now progressed to my Sense losing Bluetooth connection completely randomly throughout the day, so steps and exercises no longer being tracked. Watch is basically useless right now for me.
