HRV not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been wearing my new fitbit sense for 5 days and it is not tracking HRV. However it is tracking all other metrics including Heart rate. Even the ECG app is tracking my A FIB correctly. Could it be that my A FIB is interfering with it at night? But then why would it track resting heart rate accurately? I've cleared the cache and uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it's still not working. Any suggestions? Thanks

Good troubleshooting, that would normally clear App issues.

Did you also try logout of the Fitbit App and restarting both watch and phone?

It may not restore missing information but might start working from the next morning.

HRV is an interesting metric.  Any change in your data?  I see that the Notes say "only sleep periods greater than 3 hours are considered" - would this be an issue?

@CBV2  It could be an issue, and detailed sleep and SpO2 info might not be shown as well, though not mentioned..

My sleep tracking is fine. Sleep score is in the 80s and as I mentioned
before everything else is working well. I haven't shut down and restarted
my fitbit and phone at the same time though. Do you mean a reset or logout?
And if you mean reset could you please explain how to do that. Thanks again
for your help.

Well my sleep data say that I do wake throughout the night. However not
fully as I don't remember but it might be happening a few times in my 7
hours of sleeping therefore interfering with the HRV?

Possibly, but try logout of the Fitbit app.

DO NOT factory reset, your watch is working.

Good morning,

I don’t know if you resolved this but I have noticed I won’t get a HRV reading unless my Fitbit is slightly tighter on my wrist than how I wear it during the day, as well  located in a certain spot on my wrist.

I hope this helps.
