Health and Wellness reminders settings gone

I’m getting annoyed by the wash your hands and hydrate reminders so I went to turn them off and can not find them anywhere. You’re supposed to click on your profile picture then on your device name and then see health and wellness, but mine doesn’t show that. I know it did when I first got my sense a month ago and I set it up. But now it doesn’t show it at all. I even tried to bypass the app and sign in on a web browser and it isn’t there either.

How do I turn off these reminders?

In the App->Profile Icon top left-->Devices->Sense->Scroll Down to "Health & Wellness Reminders"

You could try restarting your phone if you are having problems.

I know that’s where it is supposed to be, but I don’t have that option. My only options when I click on sense are:

-Wrist

-Notifications

-High & Low heart rate

-reminders to move

-main goal

-quick view

-wifi settings

-sync now

-device lock

-remove this sense

and the 6 icons at the top which are

1) Amazon Alexa

2) Clock Faces

3) Apps

4) Media

5) Wallet

6) How to Use

Same issue here, posted about it on the App section without a reply.

Are you a Premium subscriber (or on the free trial)?

Are you on a beta version of the Fitbit App?

I'm not sure when it disappeared for me but it is certainly annoying not being able to turn them off again.

I’m on the free trial for premium. When I set up my sense (and had the settings there) I wasn’t on the free trial, I set that up the next day. Are you on the free trial too? That would be interesting if that was making the difference.

I think I just have the normal Fitbit app, not a beta version.

I am not on the trial/Premium, but followed the same process as you:

  • enabled reminders from the app, at that time the option was visible
  • can no longer find the same menu to disable

I did try both the beta and regular app and that didn't make a difference for me unfortunately.

I don't suppose there an invisible gap between these two?

-reminders to move

-main goal

yes there is! There is a gap between wrist & notifcations and another one between reminders to move and main goals and another one between wifi settings and sync now and another one between sync now and device lock.

Try selecting the gaps as if there was something written there.

Hi @CBJLA, welcome on board. @FloppyDrive and @MrGlenn, it's good to see you around.

@CBJLA and @MrGlenn, thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for every step tried on your own. Let me explain that the Health and Wellness reminders are available in certain countries in accounts that have a supported Fitbit device paired with, such as the Sense. Because their settings aren't longer appearing on your Fitbit app, may I know the model and OS/software version of your phone?

I'd also recommend to try the following steps:

  1. Log out from your Fitbit account.
  2. Check if the Fitbit app is updated in your phone.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, log back in and check if the location is correct in your profile.
  5. Sync your Sense and try adding turning off the Health and Wellness reminders one more time.

@FloppyDrive, thanks a lot for your help. You're awesome!

Look forward to your comments.

Hi @LizzyFitbit, thanks for responding! I am using an iPhone 8 Plus. I am on iOS14.1 (which had an update today that I installed hoping it would make a difference, but it didn't)

I logged out from the Fitbit app and uninstalled the app. Restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, logged in again. I didn't have a location set so I set the country (Canada). That still didn't make a difference. I logged out once more, closed the app, opened it again, and logged in again and it still didn't help. Here are a couple of screenshots of the options that I have available when I select Sense from the Fitbit app.

I'm having the same issue and by looking at the forums, it looks like many others are as well. The only reply anyone is getting is "just go to the Setting in the app" which isn't helpful when the setting is not there.
