Heart BPM spikes while sleeping

Hi everyone,

My bpm has been wild this last week and I’ve tried restarting and then did a factory reset on my Sense. It’s still happening. From 11-6 am I’m getting cardio zone level readings… while dead asleep. Not just one spike either like the other posts I’ve seen, and my daytime bpm are elevated 20 or so more than my norm.

I made a doctors appointment because uh, scary. But is this just malfunctioning?

Welcome to the Fitbit community.

Although the heart monitor has its inaccuracies it's usually about it being too low and slow to show changes during exercises. I think it's a good thing you scheduled an appointment with your doctor. I hope it's nothing but if it is, maybe it's a good thing the Sense was able to pick it up.

@Goldielockx25 I vote malfunction. If you had a real issue going on where you're heart rate is in cardio zones in bed, you wouldn't be "dead asleep". I think you'd surly be aware something was going on. At least in my case I would. Let us know what Doc says? I've got up for water over night and the Versa 3 (which I no longer use) has spiked into cardio. I 100% know that was false.
