I have noticed the fitbit sense is very inacurate during exercise, and it's so troubling that so many people have this problem and with the mounting number of threads Fitbit is not addressing the issue.
I start this new thread because in addition to the inaccurate heart rates I get during exercise I've noticed that when I put my sense on after having a shower (without the sense) the heart rate goes up erratically, to the point of giving me tons of actives minutes and registering it as intense exercise!
Anybody else has noticed this?
It is so disappointing, and do we have any sort of recourse as customers?

Yes, it registers the 'air' as a pulse, lol. It does that even when I take the watch off my wrist for a while. Other times not. it's just not predictable when it's going to happen and why it happens.
It's a very accurate heart rate monitor once you hold your hand very still. When I perform spinning exercises where my hands hold the wheel the whole time, it's very accurate and on par with the machine's HR.
Once you start moving your hand it's a different story. It's a mix of inaccuracies with accuracies. I think all HR watches have the same problem.
It's a good watch but for that price it should have been better, I have to agree on that.

Only my third day with a Versa 3, and I also keep getting spikes (around 190-195bpm) whenever I have the device off. If they know this is happening, there should absolutely be a quick and easy way to pause tracking manually before removing, a more reliable way for the device to automatically recognize that it's off, or at the very least a way to manually edit out that portion of time from the readings, otherwise all of the other data it provides based on those inaccurate readings becomes completely useless...as does the entire point of owning the device. Talk about an oversight!

If you want to remove data then mark the time as driving @JC_13?
What type and color of the surface is the watch on?
Is the watch on its side
