As someone who can take a heart rate finding a pulse and counting, I knew my Sense was inaccurate saying "below zone" when it was actually well in cardio. I also don't need a watch to detect my HR going up as I get more breathless
I've tried the various options in strap wearing etc.
Is HR (and yesterday for the first time step counting) just an issue to be put up with?

@RachJunker probably coincident. Sense can measure HR with very good accuracy from time to time. There is no official solution known until now.
@1066Lisa I doubt that Fitbit even works on a solution. Let's face it, if it was any it would be already out long ago. Instead, Fitbit doesn't give any estimates and is quiet about whole thing.

Hi @1066Lisa - if you look in the forums you will find many reports of the heart rate over or under reading.
It is something that has been there since the Sense and Versa 3 were released.
On the other hand if you are still for a while you should get a fairly accurate reading, a necessity for doing an ECG no doubt, so for now it cannot be relied upon when moving.

Thanks Guy this is what I thought. I just upgraded at Christmas and to be honest I've found it a little disappointing, and I've had a number of set up issues and non syncing. Any idea when Fitbit hope to resolve this? It's a fairly fundamental part of tracker that most like to do!

Hi Lisa! This affected me too and I finally think I have a solution today. My workouts were getting mixed heart rates but when I turned off the exercise log on my watch, it was extremely accurate and matched the Polar monitor I was wearing. I then went in to the app and logged my workout from there. My Fitbit is set to track workouts of mine automatically at 10 minutes in. I feel I got the most accurate measurement this way!

Thanks for that! So you didn't log the exercise at the time, just went back in and manually recorded? Is that right?
Funnily enough when I play tennis it is much more accurate

@RachJunkerI tried this and it didn't help at all. I find it curious how the same watch has very different problems and solutions. Glad it worked for you.
