Heartrate showing weird spikes

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My newly purchased Sense shows significant spikes in my heart rate during odd times. Examples are while brushing my teeth, watching TV, cooking, those kinds of things. Yesterday, while on a Stairmaster, I had to work hard to get up to 124. Today, while brushing my teether, I got up to 146!  I do not know whether to call my doctor, or return my device! So, I am asking this group for your experiences with the Sense with respect to heart rate.

@Glomil , don't need to call your doctor, it's just the way Sense works. Tasks involving a lot of quick hand movements, like brushing teeths, washing hands or anything else, always cause these fake high heart rate values on Sense. If, at that time, you measure your HR with another accurate device, you'll see that at those times Sense HR values can spike up to twice the real heart rate.

I also have that on my Sense since the beginning.
