I had trouble with this too - try these instructions below - to get to the Fitbit ECG App just swipe left from the main screen on your device and look for a red one shaped like a heart labeled ECG:
Take the assessment
Before you take your first reading, review the Heart Rhythm Assessment
introduction:
1. Open the Fitbit app on your phone or tablet, and log in to your Fitbit account
if you haven’t already done so.
2. From the Discover tab in the Fitbit app, tap Health Assessments & Reports
Heart Rhythm Assessment (ECG) and follow the instructions. After you
complete the Heart Rhythm Assessment introduction, you can take an ECG
reading.
To take an ECG reading:
1. Wear your Fitbit wrist-worn product snugly, but with enough room for
comfort. It should sit a finger’s width above your wrist bone. For more
information, see help.fitbit.com.
2. Sit down and open the ECG app on your Fitbit wrist-worn product.
3. Follow the instructions on your Fitbit wrist-worn product to start the
assessment.
4. Put your index finger and thumb on your Fitbit wrist-worn product as shown
on the screen. Continue to hold the contact points until the countdown is
complete.
5. When your results appear, swipe up to see the full report

New sense for Xmas and happy to get the upgrade from my versa 2.
I tried the directions above but no red heart on the watch.
I searched for the app and can’t find on the phone.
I looked under Discover>Assessments and Repots but only see “Wellness reports” which is premium. I don’t see heart Rhythm assessment anywhere.
I live in the US so should be available.
any help?

Same here. I've had my Sense for over a year and it "Somehow" lost the ECG & SPO2 apps. Now I can't get the ECG to work.
Best Answer2 X's now for me also.
Best AnswerSame issue.
To get started open the fitbit mobile app". Press blue open button
Check your phone to continue
On phone the app is installed and I find the hearth rhythm section.
Scroll down shows "view results" button which shows a screen saying
"You haven't taken a heart rhythm yet, get started on your device".
Rince and repeat...
It is available in my country...
