How do I track horseback riding on Sense?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Why is it that I can enter a past workout and actually choose horseback riding from the finite list, and it will then calculate the calories burned based on the time I input, yet I cannot choose horseback riding as an activity that can be tracked live as an exercise?  If you have the formula to calculate the calories burned specifically for horseback riding based on the time I input, why can you not just add this as an exercise to the list, so I can then just start and stop the exercise rather than manually enter it afterwards? It makes no sense to me that you have the formula, yet I cannot pick it as an exercise EXCEPT to manually log it as a previous workout.

It's either that, or get this working properly with MapMyFitness or MapMyRun (which have horseback riding as an exercise option), as it says it's compatible with.  However, I cannot get the the Fitbit Sense to link to either app (even though it says it's compatible to both), and I cannot get either of the apps to recognize the Fitbit Sense.  The Sense is not listed under Devices and Apps, but if you choose Heart Rate Monitor, it detects the Sense, but then says it's not compatible.

This would be because your Fitbit has not progeamed to have a horseback mode.

I would use the workout then rename.

Why can't I add horseback, I don't have access to the ability to program the firmware. You also most likely do not either.
