Hi @SunsetRunner  - go to the watch Settings, at the bottom do Shutdown.

Of course then your watch will no longer work.

The sensors are used to evaluate how your health is doing and to provide measurements for the various features.monitorrd by the watch such as sleep or exercise which is what makes it a smart watch / tracker.

Bobby, do you realize how cynical your answer is? Not using it at all is not the answer. I would also like to turn the sensor off with the Sense. I had another model for years that would let me turn off the sensor so I can't figure out why this model does not have this. I got a pretty bad burn after initially wearing the Sense model and had to wear it much looser but I'm still getting burned occasionally. It's so lose, it often does not stay in position and I have to move it back to position. I'm at a point where I need a workaround that lets me use the sensor when I specifically want to use it and block it all other times while still using the rest of the watch features, meaning turning it off is not a workaround. The point is to use the features when I need them so I can stop getting unnecessarily burned. Can't this be added as a feature in the software like on the other models? We live in a time when customer experience is king and to take this feature away from this model has ruined the customer experience.

Hi @TechDH  - as mentioned, the only way to turn off the sensor is to turn off the watch entirely.

If you want the feature that existed on older watches in the settings, the place to make your voice heard is in feature suggestions.

@SunsetRunner  - the previous posts were for me and @TechDH , your issue was already answered.

It can be confusing it the reply does not mention who it's for.

it's necessary to press "@" to enter the posters name in the response.
