I feel like my barometer isn't broken. When I go upstairs, it automatically records the floor, but when I'm in the same place and haven't gone upstairs, it also automatically records the floor, and there are many

Hi @zzj186 - your  physical pressure sensor seems to have become overly sensitive if you still have a problem after restarting the watch.

A good way to check is in the morning see if floors is 0.

You can get a better insight using the SimpleFloors app.

Hi @zzj186 - if SimpleFloors is giving you more accurate floor counts when going upstairs as it attempts to iron out erroneous pressure changes it may be a software issue (but often isn't).

If you restarted the watch and the problem continues there's always the option to do a factory reset as a last resort but this can fail and then the watch is unusable.

It may not be worth resolving as floor count  (or more accurately elevation changes) is only an indicative information.

It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks or apps and any special watch or app settings you use before a factory reset, or replacement if necessary.

If you do try the factory reset wait 5 minutes once started to allow it to complete fully.
